"A declaration of an alternative reality where freedom of thought, freedom of financial independence, and freedom from a tyrannical system held in place to marginalize the disenfranchised generationally is spoken to fruition."
Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised by his Dominican parents, RUBE quickly found a home on the city's basketball courts. He grew up to be 6'6"and became a prep star at St. Patrick's High School in Jersey City, NJ.

He played professionally in Spain, China, Cyprus, Qatar and his parents' native Dominican Republic. In 2015, he was drafted to the NBA D-League by the Austin [San Antonio] Spurs.
After retiring from the game he loved, RUBE changed gears and channeled his passion to pursue a higher calling - making music. He aims to craft songs that have the potential to be timeless.
