Tyler Rothrock Debuts At No. 8 On Billboard Comedy Albums Chart

The red hot comedian topped Lewis Black and Steel Panther on the charts

(New York, NY) - Comedian Tyler Rothrock released his highly-anticipated debut album Tyler of Nazareth, PA on November 17 via Circus Trapeze Records. The album debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Top Comedy Albums Chart, topping parody rock outfit Steel Panther and comedy legend Lewis Black. The album is available now on CD and Digital Download HERE. A limited number of signed copies are also available. In the preview clip attached, Tyler talks about the hilarious ways his childhood friendships have changed since growing up.


Nazareth, PA native Tyler Rothrock is one of the top up-and-coming comics in New York. In addition to performing sets almost nightly in New York City, he has shared stages with the likes of Emmy nominee Nick DiPaolo (Comedy Central Roasts, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Howard Stern), Michael Che (Saturday Night Live), Dave Attell ((Comedy Central, Netflix), Judah Friedlander (30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Meet The Parents), Ted Alexandro (Oz, Louie, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live), Jay Black (Showtime, A&E, Fox, NBC), Kyle Kinane (Comedy Central, Conan O'Brien) and more. He is also a special contributor to the satire lifestyle publication LehighValleyWithLove.com.


In 2010, Tyler Rothrock became the first stand-up comic to perform at the world-renowned Musikfest - a week-long music and arts festival that sees over 1 million visitors every year. Icon Jerry Seinfeld was the next comedian to headline after Rothrock. Tyler was also a featured performer at The Daily Show Comedians Stand-Up Show in New York in 2014.

In 2015, Tyler founded The Lehigh Valley ComedyFest. In 2017, the show officially became a part of Musikfest as the Lehigh Valley with Love Comedyplatz. Last year, Tyler and his committee selected 35 comics from over 200 applicants from around the country. Rothrock hosted the six shows that saw over 1,200 fans attend. Rothrock topped off a great 2017 with his first appearace at the New York Comedy Festival.
